Booklice are often called bark lice or bark flies.
These pests are very small and white. Booklice can be found outdoors feeding on mold. They can invade homes, and are found in humid areas such as the bathroom, or around leaky pipes. They may also like new home construction.

There can be large numbers of Booklice, but they do not cause damage. To control Booklice, eliminate moisture and improve ventilation and repair any leaks.
